A LESSON REVIEW ON KIDNEY CHRONIC KIDNEY DISEASE.

 KIDNEY FAILURE: WHAT IS IT?

The kidneys are two organs that are situated toward the lower back. Your spine has one kidney on each side. They cleanse your body of impurities and filter your blood.

When your kidneys are unable to sufficiently filter the waste from your blood, renal failure sets in.

The health and function of your kidneys can be affected by a variety of circumstances, including:

  •  Hazardous exposure to contaminants in the environment or specific drugs.

  •  A few acute and chronic conditions.

  • Significant dehydration.

  • Kidney damage.

SYMPTOMS OF KIDNEY FAILURE.

  •  Less urine production

  •  Swelling of your legs, ankles, and feet as a result of fluid retention brought on by the kidneys' inability to flush out water waste

  • inexplicable breathlessness

  • extreme weariness or sleepiness

  •  Constant sickness

  •  Perplexity

  •  chest pressure or discomfort

  • seizures

  •  coma

KIDNEY FAILURE CAUSES.

* Colorants used in certain imaging tests

* Particular antibiotics.

* poorly managed diabetes

* a blood clot in your kidneys or nearby

The following:

* an excess of heavy metal poisons

* Alcohol and drug use

* Vascular inflammation, or vasculitis

* Chemotherapy medications for autoimmune disorders and cancer.

KIDNEY FAILURE TYPES.

1. Chronic kidney failure:

The gradual loss of kidney function is referred to as chronic kidney failure, also known as chronic kidney disease. It's possible that chronic kidney disease won't show symptoms until your kidney function is seriously compromised.

Chronic kidney disease symptoms.

* Chest pain, if fluid accumulates around the heart's lining.

* Breathlessness if pulmonary fluid accumulates

* Hard to control high blood pressure (hypertension)

* Appetite loss

* Weakness and exhaustion

* Sleep issues

* Variations in urination frequency

* A decline in mental clarity

* Aches and cramps in the muscles

* Ankle and foot swollen

Chronic kidney disease causes include: * Type 1 or type 2 diabetes

* Blood pressure issues

* Glomerulonephritis: an infection of the filtration organs of the kidney (glomeruli)

* Interstitial nephritis: Inflammation of the tubules and surrounding tissues of the kidney

Kidney polycystic disease

* Prolonged obstruction of the urinary tract brought on by diseases such enlargement of the prostate, kidney stones, and certain malignancies

2. Acute kidney failure:

This condition happens when your kidneys are suddenly unable to remove waste from your blood. Acute kidney damage or acute renal failure are other names for it.

Acute kidney failure symptoms.

* Less urine produced, yet occasionally urine production is normal.

* Fluid retention that results in swelling in the ankles, feet, and legs.

* Breathing problems.

* Tiredness.

* Perplexity.

* Nausea.

* Weak.

* Abnormal heartbeat.

* Pressure in the chest.

* Seizures or, in extreme situations, coma.

Acute kidney failure causes.

* Your renal blood flow is slowed by a problem you have.

* Your kidneys suffer immediate harm.

* When your ureters, which carry urine from your kidneys, are clogged, wastes cannot be expelled from your body through urine.
